I've had a set of the Discovery 365D 9 liter bags for over a year now. I ride to work 4 days a week and ride most Saturdays and Sundays just for fun. I have gotten some great use from these. I went with these specifically for the smaller size. I have big feet and find most pannier bags are to big and I end up kicking them with the heal of my foot when riding. These are just right for me. Today, I noticed the tear that others have mentioned from the plastic insert at the bottom of the bag and I need to fix or replace. I'm considering the cheap cost of the bag and how many miles and days I've been carting around a change of clothes, laptop(s), etc. Some days, one or both bags are pretty heavy with everything I put in them. I could have easily spent double the cost. I'm toying with ordering another of the same bag and wrapping the edge of the plastic with duct tape so it won't be sharp. For the money, I'm happy, and the overall performance has been great. adding something to reduce the sharpness of the plastic at the bottom would make these better. I bought two Discovery 365D to use one in single as an everyday bag, and use the two together for touring. I saw the review here about the tearing fabric, but I still wanted to give a chance. But sadly, the very same happaned me. After only a few usage both showing the same simptoms: the edge of the plastic sheet on the bottom started to cut through the fabric. After a couple more use the sewing on the bottom started to rip apart too. I'm really disappointed because the desingn otherways is not bad, and suited my needs. if you need pictures, date and location of purchase, or the receipt, feel free to contact me. Nach einem halben Jahr hatte die Tasche zwei Löcher am Boden und die Naht ging auf. Offensichtlich hat der Plastikinnenboden diese Schäden verursacht. Sehr geehrter Herr, Frau Reis.
