The Basil Forte Double bag is a practical double pannier in which you can carry a lot of groceries – handy for when you want to get ingredients for the evening meal quickly after work. The bag is a strong multi-tasker in a contemporary style and is made of water-repellent polyester in combination with oilcloth. The bag also has an extra sturdy construction. The Forte Double Bag is equipped with a strap and adjustable closure. Thanks to the reflective accents on all sides and an extra-long reflective piping, you are more visible in the dark.
You can easily attach the double pannier to the back of your bike with the Universal Bridge system. It will also fit on the luggage rack of your electric bike. This system consists of eight slots, which make it possible to attach the bag in three ways:
Fixed mounting: Using the straps supplied.
Removable: In combination with an adapter plate. Suitable for adapter plates from MIK, Racktime, i-Rack/Carrymore. These adapter plates have to be purchased separately.
Removable: In combination with the DBS detachable bag system.
Do you have a child seat on your bike? Then combine the Forte Double Bag with the Basil Carrier extender. With this handy accessory, you extend your luggage carrier and you can attach the Forte double.
Looking for a different colour? Take a look at the Forte Double Bag in a dark blue colour. Tip: combine the Forte Double Bag in black with the Basil Distance holder (sold separately). This prevents the bag from getting into the spokes of your bike.

De klep sluit de tas niet goed af doordat de klep taps toeloopt. Tegen kan daardoor regen zo in de tas vallen. Erg jammer en teleurstellend voor een mooie fietstas van een goed merk. Basil zou nog eens goed naar het ontwerp moeten kijken.
